The novel I am writing is a gothic tale set in 19th century New England. Thus, this blog will deal with my writing process and all things related to my story. The Victorian era: literature, famous figures, fashion, general history of the time. Also: studies related to the occult and supernatural world.
I have many passions, so this blog will also include various topics such as: books, classic films, animals, and nature.
Ok, Hello fellow writer! I will not attempt to muse about your many passions, or imagine your personal life as PG, XXX, or G for that matter. I’ll imagine it as any and all, depending on your mood.
I have never heard of Rasputina, my favorite all-time band is Iron Maiden. My favorite new band is Avenged Sevenfold.
I hope your writing is going well, myself, I am going to sign off now so I can get back to my own.

Hi Steven,
thanks for coming over and saying, “hi”.
good luck with your writing today.
As for me- I have the whole day off, so I can write to my heart’s content. yeah!
Hey Gypsy! You have very interesting interests. : ) I love your blog, and your writing. I look forward to reading more once my querying dies down. I’m going back over my partial, to be ready just in case.
Funny thing, because tonight I added YOU to MY blogroll.
Em : )
Hi Gypsy, thankyou for your quotes. The Helen Keller one is so good. Looking at your interests they are similar to mine and when I come on your site I seem to float to somewhere else.Must be the Spiritualism links! I had a look at Emily Bronte’s and your own lineup of Sun, Moon and Ascendant. I wonder if there are any other synchronicities there outside of Astrology. I find the fact that we are drawn to someone most intriquing, especially if they have passed over. It would be intriquing research.
I am just putting on more quotes and they are often about Love. Leos are so romantic ! Thankyou for dropping by, I enjoy reading your site.
Hi StillinHeaven,
Thank you so much for your compliments! I love the idea of someone floating someplace else when they come over here. Allowing them to forget the mundane for awhile. 🙂 (Heh, I hope my novel can manage that.)
I agree it’s fascinating- what draws us to certain people? Is there a particular writer that you feel a special bond with?
Sounds fascinating! Can’t wait to keep reading about your work as it progresses 🙂
Thanks so much, Sputnitsa!
PORTRAITS OF THE LIVING: A GHOST TALE is complete, and as now is being looked at by a few agents. (fingers crossed)
So now I’m working on my next novel which I talked a bit about in the “Of Writing and Swamps” post.
All the best to you and with your writing. 🙂
